      Goodbye Knockback!

Well, after a little eye opening incident at Streets of Willow, and a little bit of luck in the pits thanks to new friends, the Road Runner will be getting a DANA 60 ( None of that girly, inefficient Ford 9" junk) Full Floater rear end, constructed by Speedway Engineering and fitted with Wilwood brakes. Construction will begin next week and be done in time for the car to be at SEMA. I know I don't usually honk my own horn too much on this forum, but I'm pretty excited, because this is just about the last thing the car needed for me to stick a fork in it and call it done.

Sounds like a good choice! I will be going with a girly 9" full floater over winter only because the pinion is .75" lower which will help my pinion angle. Please keep us posted I really like to see how it comes out because I'm not 100 percent sure where i'm getting my rearend made.

Very cool Dan... which corner did you have an "incident"? And care to share your lap times? Was Streets CW or CCW that day?

Streets CW, and it was coming down the back straight through the chicane...not being on the breaks coming through that pushes the pads back just right on both sides...
If you go to this video at 6:45 there is some good footage of a buddy of mine chasing me around in his not very stock 2011 Camaro, after a lap or two, you see it happen... pedal went about an inch off the floor and kinda had pressure...
