Well, after I posted, I found you settled on a color, looks good. Nice job on the console.
I missed the info on the steering column, what type are you using?
I noticed some race cars have a removable steering wheel, but I was told those are not legal for street.

I've never heard that, but inspection shops where I live always seem to have their opinions. Either way, I'll be registering my car as vintage, so it won't require inspection. Of course I could then be pulled over for it, assuming it's even a law, but you can be pulled over for just about anything anyway.

Edit: I think any applicable laws regarding steering wheel replacement apply to cars with airbags.

all my steering stuff I bought through Woodward. My steering shaft has a massive amount of collapsibility which I see as a safety improvement. Everything is splined including the wheel disconnect so there is minimal play.
