most used and simplest deal is a 98-05 corvette regulator and filter. you will need adapter fittings and those you can get from russell

The filter has the regulator built in. Speedway has a kit with the an adapter fittings, works great.

Do you know what the kit comes with? I see the filter/regulator is $30, but for $70 it looks like you only get 1 extra fitting for the fuel rail?

Looks like the kit includes quick-connect to AN adapters for the regulator inlet and return, plus the fuel rail fitting.

I called speedway and they entered the order with black fittings.

You should only need the one extra fitting at the fuel rail unless you have an older ls1, most of the newer stuff does the return line at the filter and only runs a pressure line to the engine and fuel rail.

I have an 02 f-body type of set-up. Looks like if all I need is that fuel rail fitting, I can get that for a few bucks at Summit. I would hate to spend an additonal $40 for some fittings I'm not going to use.

Please correct me if I'm wrong here:

I need this for the rail: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RUS-640853/
      The filter

and just the associated hose/AN fittings to plumb it.

You won't need the extra fitting from summit if you get the speedway kit, they give you 4 fittings with the filter/regulator, 3 for use on the filter and one for at the fuel rail push on. But if you are going to get just the filter, then you will need the russell fitting from summit, plus whatever other fittings or Dorman hose ends to connect to the filter/regulator.

is this the only filter and reg you guys are running? running close to the tank or up front? dead headed into fuel rails with no return? it looks like russel makes the old style in -8 that will fit the reg. not sure about the new style.

Russell offers the new style in both -6 and -8.
      Blue or Black.
