Hey guys, been lurking here for about a year or so and finally decided to join.

My name is Brandon and from West Virginia (and yes i know you probably have family in Richmond and no its not close). I am 19 and have grown up in car dealerships my whole life but nobody in my family works on them just sells them.

      Anyone else here from WV?

I dont have any pro touring cars at the time unfortunately but hopefully that will change soon.

Have a 71 mach 1 project sitting on a trailer in the yard but think that a land yacht isn't the best candidate. 2002 corvette is just to expensive to buy parts for that i feel are worth doing. And of course a 2001 cummins is just... no.

Currently looking at a 1968 plain jane camaro and a 1969 rs/ss. The guy has had them sitting for past 15 years and I have finally convinced him to sell atleast the 68. Hoping to get them both and have the 68 pro touring and the 69 mostly original.

Will be some time before i can build the 68 because we are in the process of opening a used car lot which is taking a lot of our money.

This site has been a great place for information and a place to get "around" some people that also enjoy working on and building cars.

      Thanks to everyone,

      Brandon Parsons

Well a little update. Just offered the guy money for the 68 camaro. He took it so now I just gotta take him the money and bring the car back home. Ill have pics up later this week hopefully. My cousin who is 65ish is already talking about rebuilding the engine this winter and getting the body work done and in primer so we can atleast be driving by spring. Gonna do a tranny swap and make it a manual.

After that is where this website and you guys come in. All the new suspension.

Hopefully have updates for u this week.

Wow that is a clean car. I was expecting the link to the 73? mach 1 that is purple and has air ride i think. Love that car. Gonna use the camaro for ease of parts and just love the body. One day i might rebuild the mach 1 for my dad since that is the car he has always wanted.

Finally got the camaro home yesterday. It's still on the trailer as of now. Found out it has a 350 not a 327 as the badges on the side say. Heads are the double hump heads which i was told were the good heads back then. Engine can be rotated by hand. Now lets see if I can get some pictures posted.

Here is the 71 Mach 1

Got it torn down was gonna turn into a drag car then lost interest after building a Monza drag car. Now I am trying to get out of having to trailer a car to and from the drag strip and selling it also.
