This has been discussed before. I will see if I can find the thread and post a link.

The compendium thread. Expect to be just as clueless after reading the thread as to where to find them.

      Mike,

Phil's lug nuts are shank style. You can see a close up of the lug seat on his Minilite reps here.

The rest of us are looking for conical seat lugs.

      Nick,

Phil is a machinist and can make anything.

I would still call him and see if he will make the lugnuts you and others desire.

Conical Seat Lugnuts are NOT unique as far more wheels use that style of lug that what Phil uses on his wheels.

He may surprise you and have just what you need.

It seems to me that it would certainly be worth a phone call BEFORE I wrote him off the potential supplier list!

Phil has cone seat lugs. I've used then on a couple of cars we built.

      Mike,

I would be more than glad to send him a note to see if things have changed. The pic above was taken by me at Phil's shop. I had the opportunity to visit his shop in person when I was SoCal for other reasons. I asked him about conical seat long T/A lug nuts when I was there. He had conical lugs in other styles, just not the long T/A ones. This was about 2 years ago, so maybe he has changed the long T/A nuts since.

Also, I have lug nuts drawn up in CAD. I have been close to pulling the trigger on making my own set. Just thought it would be nice to buy some off the shelf. One offs will not be cheap.
