      Hello from Chicagoland

Hello to everyone from a newbie in Chicago. I just wanted to say hello and say I'll be seeing ya'll in Pigeon Forge.
I've been auto-crossing for a few years now and I'm trying to do more things with my car.
I signed up for Pro-touring about 3 weeks ago, saw the "Run Through the Hills" event and signed up on the spot. I'm looking forward to some very serious competition for the Autocross, and the 1/8 mile drags and start-stop event sounds great.
As far as cars, I've got a Camaro and it's my third one (it's not a pre-81, my first two were but this one is a 98 and it's what I could afford) I've done a lot to it and I will get to do more. It's really set up for Autocross with Lowering Springs and Koni shocks with Brembo rotors and Steel lines and what not, items related to suspension and brakes. It has a way to go before it's all I want it to be.(more POWER) But as we all know, it's a project that never ends.
In Tennessee when you see a Silver Z28 with black wheels w/chrome rings, my name is Dave so please say hello and I'll be sure to do the same. My son is driving down with me for the event too. His name is Carmello, but we mostly call him Mel.

I'm looking to forward to meeting many of you and making some new friends. I'll be driving down from Chicago on Thursday and I'm one of the people staying at the Country Cascades so I'll see some of you there.
I'm excited to be part of this event and to be able to do it with like-minded people. My son is very excited too. We're thrilled to kick off our relationship with Pro-touring.com with a bang!
      Thanks. Dave

P.S. It let me attach a couple of thumbnails pics so I put a couple of them on.

Dave, welcome to the forum! who do you autocross with, TriState? I don't remember seeing your car at SCCA stuff and I would remember that one.

If you are not doing anything next weekend don't forget about this https://www.pro-touring.com/showthre...land-Nationals

Your car can get in the show on Sunday and Autocross, but it's tight. you can also get rides in some older iron all weekend.
