      LOL

Once I got it through my head that I wasn't going to beat Mark I was really pushing Mary to keep running on Sunday. I'm already going to the OUSCI (as is Mark as returning champion) and Mary really wanted to win her way in so lunch break on Sunday became a real strategy session. We thought she was safely in but there was a chance that she could have been knocked out. She really didn't want to run the car any more but I eventually convinced her to try two last runs.

What I should have done is gone over to the autocross and taken a few more stabs at Mark's time there. Or I should have kept dialing in more brake and stayed at the speed stop for a couple of more passes. I had the consistency going but wasn't improving enough and in the heat I was watching the temps settle in closer to 220 than I liked so I took my flat spotted tires and parked it.

Mary earned the invite - no doubt about it - taking a relatively untested combination and flogging on it until it cried uncle. I also think that we set a record for the fastest rear spring change in history...

I dunno about that. I've seen Mike Maier do some stupid fast rear spring changes! As in maybe under 5 minutes. But he cheats and puts his coil overs in the trunk lol...
