      Tire size

My S10 has 15x8 wheels on it and Im looking at getting some new tires for it. It currently has 225/70's (27.4") on it and they are too tall and look narrow. I need a tire thats shorter and I'd like something a bit more squared off. Would a 235/60 (26.1") be a noticeable change or would a 225/60 (25.6") look alright?? When I had my 3" drop coils and 2" spindles, the tires were always into the fender wells and was very sketchy driving it.

      Hi Shaun,

Back in the day we did alot of S-10's and we ran 2356015's on the fronts. A 235 will have a square sidewall compared to a 225 which does look stretched on a 8" wheel.

      Regards,
