LS engine harness locaiton through firewall?

Where about are you guys with the LS's putting your harness through the firewall on a 1st gen camaro? My body is still stripped clean but want to drill the hole needed to route the harness inside the car to the PCM mounting location (which is undetermined at this time).

      Thanks in advance

You could use the older blower motor hole or somewhere in that area if you want to hide anything. I ran mine close to where the AC lines went thru the firewall. My ECM is mounted in the inner fender near the firewall. My 67 had the hole in the are where the bottom of firewall meets trans tunnel. ECM mounted under the dash. The motor was further forward on the 67 and had lots of room. I had no room to put it there on my 69 as the motor is very close to the firewall. I wasn't concerned about show presence, mine id driven often & I wanted accessability. Scott

detroit speed uses some real nice multipin connectors that they put right behind where a distributor would normally go. looks real nice. connectors aren't cheap though.

I used a large oval grommet and made a hole below the passenger side head on the top of the transmission tunnel and fed the harness through.
