      door hinge springs

      How do you get the little spring back into the bottom door hinge? This thing is driving me batty!!

      The spring that engauges the hinge pin and the stepped rocker looking thingy (the spring that holds the door open)?

      If so then there is a tool you can buy for a couple of bucks to install it since using screwdrivers or pry bars to get it in there will only launch the spring accross the garage or into your forehead.

      Found this by searching for "auto body tools" then searching for "door hinge spring" in the tool section.

      Wow....finally got one in! Used a C-clamp, Vise, and several tubs of petroleum jelly... don't ask...
