Just a thought, one of the advantages of traditional outboard engines is power to weight ratio, which is critical in heavy drag, limited momentum (marine) applications. Obviously these guys must've worked that out, although they only did a comparable HP cost analysis vs a comparable HP to weight ratio analysis. I didn't watch all of the videos, so maybe I missed it?
Either way, I'm an I/O guy so I'm not inspired to find that answer.Ron in SoCal
