      Need Proportioning Valve HELP!

Just installed the SSBC adjustable proportioning valve with gauge in my '77 Camaro. I am running '81 Trans Am disc brakes with the '81 booster & master cylinder. I now have no pedal pressure, and no matter how far or which direction I turn the knob the gauge stays at zero. I am 100% positive that I have the in & out to the prop valve plumbed correctly. Don't know if it matters, but I have the gauge attached to the "out" port of the prop valve. The lines have been bled & I seem to have pressure at the master cylinder.

This snafu is preventing me from participating in the road course portion of the Motor State Challenge tomorrow!! I'm hoping that I can figure it out in time to make the autocross on Sunday!

      HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!

OK, so I guess I'm going to swap the stock prop valve back in & see if that makes any difference. No one has any ideas???

"I now have no pedal pressure"...and... "I seem to have pressure at the master cylinder"... don't exactly add up.

You either have pressure or you don't. I would first delete the guage and see if if makes a difference. If it does not... I would swap back to the stock unit to make the event and trouble shoot the issue later.
