      get one of these http://www.steckmfg.com/35250.htm

after you file bugs, runs and trash, use hard rubber block or mixing stick ,600 and 1000 grit paper to get the surface smooth and prepped for new coat of clear

thank's, i do have a nib file it worked great for getting it down level. but there is still just a little piece of bug left and where the run's were the best way i can discribe it would be ghosting? perhaps it's not sanded enough i don't know. this is my first paint so far so good. what if when trying to get the trash out i blow thru to the base? ( lemans blue met) i might be getting ahead of my self i guess i should worry about that bridge when i get to it!

don't try to get the ghost bug whatever , you'll be digging into clear and that spot will end up with a dip,get it as smooth as possible and dust a little basecoat over that area before clearing,

i think that is what i was getting at. just when i should stop sanding, im guessing that if i do break through that a dusting would work on it also?

I'd try to block that spot with 600 or 1000 until it's smooth, wipe it down with prep solvent and see how deep the bug or ghost is,usually you can get a pretty good idea when it's wet.Try not to dig as I mentioned before, most likely you won't be able to get that ghost out without busting through the clear,so I'd advise getting that area flat and dust the base before shooting more clear
