69 Camaro inner door handles
I have a 69 Camaro with deluxe interior. I'm going to switch my inner door panels out. I'm going to have some made out of aluminum. I want to switch to a standard inner door handle and standard door handle mechanism. Will the standard door handle mechanism bolt in the same place as the deluxe door handle mechanism? >.....Thanks guys..........Mike

yes they mount into the same location, you will be able to use the same rod also

I just did this in a buddies Camaro. You'll grab the rod with some vice grips and rotate the rod end 90deg since the deluxe door handles have the rod connect by droping in from the top rather than the side.
