      GTO Tag

Well it got here today and I thought I would show it off. I would put it on the malibu but too much hassle to swap it back to the GTO when I finish it.
Someone started a thread here about tags a couple months ago and it got me thinking. I went to the local tag office and asked them to check and see if it was available. I could not feel out the paperwork fast enough when she told me it was not taken. Remember, it never hurts to try.

      Good work Bill,

FYI. Simply, get on line to your Secretary of State Office. There is a menu that will allow you to go to personal plates. You can then enter your beloved saying, name, number, etc. They will verify if that listing has been taken or not.

P.S. I had Judge 1 in MI for over 20 years before my car went into hibernation and I gave it up.

Looks great, Bill!! I just ordered a custom plate for the Camaro last week. It's for the '68, but I wanted to reserve it before anyone took it, so I'll be putting it on the '01 SS for now.

I got PRODGY 1, PRODGY 2, and so on up to 6, so everything has tags now. And the street racer is regestered and insured for the first time in 8 years Steve, LOL! Dealer tags are so great!

Dealer tag insures whatever you put it on.

Hmm, thanks... so they don't have just a search feature? At what point do they check to see if that plate is already taken?

Yes they do click on what style plate you want from my previous link...then on that page you enter what plate you would like and if it is taken it will say error allready taken...you can change the spelling and fiddle with it till you get what you want.
