Suspension Picks for 80 Firebird
Hi Everyone,
I'm currently in the process of getting ready to work on the suspension of my 80 Firebird.
I'm a complete noob at this, but I was wondering if some of you could tell that I'm on the right track for this portion of my build.
For the rear suspension, I'd like to use the DSE Rear Mini-Tub kit, with the leafs and shocks (for a 2" drop). I'm interested in larger rims on the back, like 18x12 with a tire of 335-35-18.
For the front, I was thinking of saving some money and using iGen upper and lower control arms, with the DSE front springs and koni shocks. I'd like 18x10's(285-35-18) in the front, I don't think I'll have to do any modification for it, from my research.
Finally I was thinking of purchasing the Hotchkis Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit.
Tell me what you guys think. I plan on making this car a daily driver.

North – thanks for considering us for the source of your lightweight hollow sway bars. Every pound makes a difference!

We offer springs and shocks that are tuned to work perfectly as a package with our sway bars. The shocks are HPS 1000 shocks, which are Bilstein’s that are built to our specifications to work with our sway bars and springs.
