i like it, amd i dont like alot of custom interiors. but not a big fan of the piece going all the way to the bag seat, unless u made them individual seats. Like the front.
      Know that would be cool.
      But everything else looks grreattt!!!

I had a friend of mine do them. I didn't get to watch him build the door panels but the console is made from pvc board. He can custom build pretty much whatever you want. I will ask him what he used.

nicely done. I really like the door panels. The console is unique as well. I'd love to see a build process on the console using the pvc board. is it covered in vinyl after that?

I may have a couple of pics before it was covered. You can buy the pvc board in 4X8 sheets and it comes in 1/8 and 1/4 inch. He built the full console out of a cardboard pattern then used nuts, bolts and superglue to hold everything together. It was then covered with a thin foam and I used ultra vinyl which is really soft and stretchable. I am putting a double din tv where the flat part of the console sits against the dash.

I did custom stereo installs for years and almost always used fiberglass. It is getting kinda played out! The pvc board gives you a much more modern look and is not near as messy and time consuming to finish!

I wish I would have taken some pics but I really didn't think it was going to turn out good enough to use. I was just kinda messing around with it and it actually came out better than I expected. I filled the vent holes and ac control holes with abs plastic. I glued the glove box door shut with a two part epoxy called panel bond. When everything was filled and glued I then skimmed the panels with a layer of bondo so everything would be smooth. Then I covered both panels with fleece and fiberglassed them. I covered them in the same ultra vinyl I used on the doors and console.

I was just noticing that the very back of the console has a rounded "butt" to it... So was the console essentially 4-5 pieces? The top where the shifter, switches and door are, going all the way back. then (2) sides, and then the pieces for the Double din unit? Just trying to deconstruct what I see.

also, the elongated door behind the shifter, does it just slide back in a channel toward the rear seat?

I am thinking when I die into the King Cobra this fall/winter I am going to do a console like the '67 with the accordion/tambor door that covers the double DIN, and all the extra switch gear. Motorized with the key... all ahead of the shifter.

It's 3 pieces. It has 2 sides and a top. The top board was bent with a heat strip to make the curve. The door does have a channel that it slides back into.
