      torque converter

ok so i dropped my torque converter face down on the garage floor....it was from about 3 feet high. There was no visable damage to it. It seamed fine. I am concerned though that something internally broke which if i am correct would ruin my whole transmission. so before i put it back in the car like that i took it to a recamended transmission place that builds and sells them. He took one look at it after i told him the story and said there was no way that would do anything to that torque converter they are bullet proof to stuff like that, the only way it would break would be when its on the car and something goes wrong. I am wondering your guys thoughts on this because the last thing i wanna do is take this guys word for the 2000$ it would take to rebuild my whole transmission if something went wrong. Thanks fellas

if nothing is rattling i'd install it, i have never seen a converter break outside of the trans.
