ATS oil pan
I bought an ATS road racing pan that I am using on my LS engine and was wondering for those that have one how much oil do they take? Can you use the stock dip stick? Or does it use a longer one?
I was guessing 7 qts.

You should be able to use your stock dip stick, as it's going to still read the same "full" point. I usually add oil to the filter and install, then add 4-5 quarts depending on the pan. Let it sit for a good 10-15 minutes, then check the dip stick. Then add a little at a time until it reaches full, noting how much was put in. That way you allow enough time for it to make its way to the pan.
