      69 Camaro Front bumper

It appears to me that the Urethane dumper fit closer fit closer and nicer than the steel one. Does anybody know if this is accurate? Is it possible and practical to chrome one?

hey al i have been working on my bumpers for 3 weeks or so. cut ,shave, pull in, made them real tight, front and back 3/16 they look great so far. front was alot of work still on it, no going chrome. paint same as body. the front on the 69 has the v where it meets the grill and fender, seen so many 69`s with a big gap there. i can`t get it any closer with out welding it to the car lol mike

we used the original chrome bumper brackets and had to modify those to make the bumper fit flush with the edge of the grill. It took some time and effort but it looks good, gaps/space between bump and grill even the entire length, approx. 3/8 inch. the supplied brackets- we couldn't figure out how they worked.
