      match this wheel...

I occasionally play with the idea of adding new wheels to my galaxie. However,
I'd like to have a wheel that suggests the original design:

It seems like every manufacturer has a version of the salt flat / kidney bean style,
which kind of matches, but not really. The best ones I can find so far are:

      Budnik Fueler X:

      Boyd Coddington "Classic Signature"

Perhaps this would be similar w/o the "bubble" covering the lug nuts.

But I'm not really sold on these...

Does anyone know of a design that would be similar? I'm looking for a design with a "vintage"
      look, not a "modern" look.

      thanks.

the difference is that on the original version, the 5 spokes do not go all the way
into the center, but dissolve into the center circle.

that is a good looking wheel though...

      thanks.

you could have the muroc machined at a machine shop to remove the spokes at the center. I dont think those wheels are clear coated, so all you'd have to do is polish the "new" area.
