i read for HOURS online and was still lost. i went to the local shop and was able to hear most of the sets that i was comparing. most sounded really good, but it amazed me how different speakers can sound.
i picked up some focal 165VR's at a GREAT price from car toys at the beginning of the year. i also picked up a focal 11" sub and plan on running the JL HD series amp.Tim

Danny,
What system did you end up buying? I’m in the same situation; I just bought a 69 GTO that needs a new stereo system. I would like to use Sony’s DSX-S310BTX for a head unit, since it can control an android phone to listen to Pandora radio.
