You are absolutely correct. Looked up a 59 Impala and defiantly it. Thanks

Thanks for the compliments on the car guys. Got the firewall and frame smoothed and vintage air in I will try to get some pictures of those posted shortly. Looking forward to getting the LS fitted in. Have never done a conversion so pretty excited about getting it in plus I know it is getting close to paint then hopefully if I can leave it alone

Got the ls and 6 speed in with minimum problems. Actually I was expecting to have to do a lot more modifying especially to the floor and oil pan. Didn't have to modify the oil pan at all and minor mods to the floorName: 2013-01-22_15-14-37_348.jpg

Your asking for opinions... First nice work I appreciate what you have done.. as for preferences.. I like what you did with the fenders,/quarters but not the door handles i prefer the classic look there.. I like what you did with the valance but not some much molding it in like that.
I like the rear bumper that's pretty cool and unique...
Rear spoiler looks good molded in.. the dash looks great.. kinda up in the air about the big center gauge... it gets point for using existing parts off another car too... it so much more creative to do what your doing then just buy and bolt
A+ for doing it your way...!

Finally got front and rear suspension and motor back in. The motor will have a custom cover over it is why it looks the way it does right now. Painting the dash and body will be next on the agenda

Size: 71.9 KB. Got ac vents put in and dash painted. All wiring pretty much done inside. Have to get the gauges in and figure out where I'm going to put the radio and ac controller in the custom console. After the inside is done going to wire up motor and then paint finally.

What size of tires are you looking to put in to match the wide body? 315s up front maybe!??

I dig it man! I've contemplated trying to get a 69 front valence to work on mine... I just need more lights up front! Keep it up!
