      Decision on which motor

I need some help deciding on what motor to use. I currently have a stock ZZ4 in my 72 Nova w/a 700R4 and12 bolt 3.73 gears. Running 275/40/17 in the rear. The car will be primarily street driven with some track time. My problem is this: I want more than the 355 hp/405 tq the motor has. My options are: upgrade with a better cam and then add the EZ EFI; buy a 383 from patriot-performance rated at 450hp and use a vacuum canister (i am told the vacuum wont be enough to run power brakes) and then later add the EZ EFI; or buy an LS2 and swap out the stock cam for a better one. I have a buyer for the ZZ4 but am not sure which route to go. Any help would be appreciated.

LS2 is the way to go. Great HP and fuel mileage. Its a no brain er. All technology is headed that direction and on the 383 if you ever want to put a power adder with the ez efi you can't. Its not compatible with nitrous of blow through applications.
