My Camaro Nightmare continues

Please allow me to ventfor a sec, as I expand on my epiloge of sadness that is my camaro story..... Almost 2 years ago I blew the guts out of my converter at the track wekk since I was going to have to have the trans and converter out I decided to pull the motor and have a 383 done. The shop I choose built the engine in about 2 months time and I picked it up and brought it home. It sat on the stand for 6mo while I worked on the car replacing floorpans and cleaning the and painting the engine bay up. I also had the exhaust welded up and intstalled. It was a loooong grulingly slow process that draged on forever. Finally after more than a year and a half I finally had the engine in and everything was ready to go or so I thought.. I had an origional agreement with the shop that built the engine that I would install the motor and trans and leave the initial start and breakin up to them, so when it was ready I had a tow truck pick it up and drive it the 70 or so miles to the shop. Well this shop promised a quick turn around and it sat there for 5 weeks and the only thing that was done was he took it apart and decided he was too busy to finish it.. ( should have gotten a clue when I saw the same cars there being worked on ever time I went in there). So I go and rescue my car from this shop and take it to someone else to finish up. Well it is one thing after another and I end up buying another converter because shop B tells me that there is somting wrong with the converter that i had and they can not connet the engine and trans because there is an interference problem. I was hopeing to have my car done and driving by Thurs 16th and I get a call today that makes my stomace drop. Shop B tells me that there is still an interference problem and that it is because that my crank is 1 hundered thousands to big and it is contacting the converter. So now I have no Idea what to do. Oh and to make matters worse I am leaving Monday the 20 to goto Europe for a month. Shop B suggested that we call Shop A and try to resolve the issue in house if possible which is good if we can but if the engine needs to come out I don't know what to do.. I am afraid to let shop A have the engine and car again because it will just sit there and I knwo that nothing will be done or worse yet it will be dissasembled and left to rot. HELP!! I am at wits end here. I have a conciderable amount of money tied up in this and no results. I just want the car drivable it does not seem that hard of a thing these cars are not rocket science. Money is not a problem here I mean I know I have paid out a ton but still I would gladly pay someone if I could just here my car run again. It is soo horrible everytime I think It will be finished disaster strikes.
