Hello PT.com, 67 Big Pontiac GP.
Hello ProTouring!
Mark from Ontario Canada. I have a 67 Canadian Pontiac Grande Parisienne, 327/375 Th400, 12 bolt, rare to be sure, but slowly working it into somthing tight. It's an all original low mile Ex USSR Ottawa embassy car. Totaly sad pillow machine to start with but in unbelivable condition. Bought it on a whim for a song and fell in love with it.
So far, Addco big bar up front, Spohn Performance big rear bar. Bilstiens. F41 springs, UMI Adj. panhard. Rebuilt front end. Still on stock rubber susp bushings. 17x8 TH II's with Firestone Indy 500 rubber. 1.5" duals with Flomaster knockoffs. Transformed enough now to actually handle and sound surprisingly nice. Perhaps it doesn't meet the pro touring requisites as it's a big 4dr HT with skirts no less, but I'm having a ball with it...love trolling on the backroads and surprising more modern cars through the twisties, they have no idea!
Near Future...aftermarket arms, quick ratio steering box, more power! Deluxe HO 350 on the stand ready to go (no BB's here). 700R4. Eaton posi, 3.73's.
Anyway, I have 69-82 Corvette C3 spindles coming together in a bench mockup. Just ordered Wilwood D8-4's. Will be asking some questions in the brake forum.
Cheers, Mark
