      kick panels with speakers

I have a 69 Camaro and am looking for somekind of aftermarket kick panel that can hold 5-6" round speakers. ( not the factory kind for 4x6's) Custom Autosound makes them for the 67-68 but not the 69'. They said someone makes them but they couldnt remember who.Any ideas?

I've seen them in Year One's car Innovator, but have never seen them on their website, or in their catalog. If you find them let me know. I'm looking (not too hard yet) for a set too!

Anyone find these kickpanels yet? I'm thinking worst case I can make a ring for 5.25" speakers that would help with the depth. Not sure about the driver side though given the parking brake. Might have to do some measuring. Polk has a nice 4x6 fitting speaker kit that uses a tweaker and 4". But I'd prefer 5.25" if possible.

Try this, I have seen them on the website, but have no experience with them. I was thinking about calling them myself. http://www.gardenofspeedin.com

I would custom build them, or have a shop build them They are very cheap and flimsy. If you do buy a set, make sure that you line them with a layer or 2 of Dynamat (or your choice) to give the speakers a solid mounting surface for lower end frequencies to launch off of.
