      Divers aboard?

      Hey,

I was wondering if here are some divers aboard?!?

Since I was a young boy I’m interested in the ocean(s). But since I started KEEP SHARKS ALIVE in 2009 I decided finally to attend the Padi OWD course. For this I have to thank my wife Jess’, she absolutely agree with it. And she is doing it with me LOL

We wanna specialize in doing u/w photo- and videography.

Right now we don’t know where the Army put us, but maybe here are some divers around so that we can go dive under sometime…

Registered SSI diver since '85. Over 30+ some dives. Going to get Nitrox certified after settling some health issues.

Going to Maui next year and I shore dive everyday at least once usually twice on 10 day trips. My 4th trip. Doing Molakini crater this time.

I totally intend to do this before I die. After a cave cert of course.

Scott, I also wanna get Nitrox cert. after the OWD and AOWD. Will see how things work out...

Rodney, that sounds really interesting. Are you allowed to tell more about your work at the Navy Training Center as well as NOAA?
      I'm really interested in this...

I'm nitrox certified. Diving since 08. It's amazing being so far underwater knowing you don't belong there. I like to get to the bottom and just look up. Such a thrill.

I have my Open Water Cert. - have since I was 15. Have 40 or so dives under my belt. I don't get to go that often. When we do it is usually the Caribbean - - Grand Cayman, BVI, Cozumel, Aruba. We went to Maui a few years ago.

I wish my wife had some interest, but I usually just go by myself when we go on vacation.

PADI, my wife is the same - no interest. My sonis 6 and is learning to snorkle so he'll be my dive buddy. I'm in Canada and I'm not interested in wrecks or rocks so my diving is sparse.

Cool... a lot of divers here...

And funny at the same time. If you post a non car related topic in a german car board they starting being bitchy LOL

Anyways, we are also not really interested in rocks and wrecks. We start diving only because we wana learn more about sharks and their behavior.
Hopefully all our plans work out and we can move on for 100% as soon as we are back in the states.

Maybe there is also a chance to get a diving related (side) job. But I guess you have to be more experienced than an (A)OWD... well, we will see...

You guys have any u/w pictures?
