Other than having a 73 t/a being built by DSE, no I have not heard or seen him as of late

I saw him (and 4 or 5 of his cars) at a show here in Austin last fall, but I don't really 'know' him per se... He had a couple of Ford GT's there, and a couple of Ferraris. I believe they were all his anyway. ;)

He used to be on here more often. Maybe it was before your time.

SW has the best modern car collection and best automotive tastes that I know of. Not to mention the coin to play with them

His most recent project was an Underground racing TT Gallardo.

I spoke with SW not to long ago, not for long.. I heard he sold off his 69 Camaro and Mustang.. I hope he didnt sell his '73s.. :(

I dont see him out at the meet to often anymore, but I still talk to Chris Johnson(Performance Motorsports) and Cody Whitehead(American Racing Technology) and they have both told me he is fine, been messing with Lambos mostly..

I might be talking out my ass because I have never met him but I have been told from more than one person that the money is some sort of middle eastern royal family. I can tell you he has some niiiiiice cars.

Nah, you are right.. He is a really nice laid back guy though.. My dad and his dad use to work together and my dad also had a '76 T/A at the same time SW did when he was a kid..

He called me out of the blue in like '98 or '99 and wanted to buy my car. He had seen it in a readers rides or something in CHP. After I told him no (because I though he was a flake because it was too bazzare to be "real") he wanted to know all about the tire/wheel sizes and how I got the stance. A couple years later I saw him at the dragstrip in Dallas with a few ZR-1's and realized I may have screwed up! LOL!
      Nice guy for sure!

Super nice guy but, last I heard he was going to shave the beard off of Chuck Norris. That was a while ago.

      I understand http://www.elitemotorsports.com/ is SW's

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-z...-for-sale.html is a topic on a car he is selling and posts on his past C4 ZR-1s. If it is fast and modern SW has likely owned and modded it. It is also respectable that he turns fast times driving his own cars at the drag strip and track events.

I had one transaction with him buying some used C5 parts and he was a stand up guy. I have yet to hear otherwise about him.
