I remember seeing that mustang sitting there on Friday and thought, what shame its not out running down the cones. Wish I could have be there on Saturday to see it. Very nicely done stang.

Where was the Mav? I built that stang about four years ago and sold it to my buddy last year. I am builing a Maverick for auto x also. I really need to see your ride! Want to look at your three link in the rear.

Motor and trans are out for work. Hopefully I'll have it back together soon.

I really like the stance on that camaro. What suspension pieces do you have? I wish I would have stayed to see it run!

My kids and I went to the show and watched the cars run through the course. My son said "when is my car gonna be ready? We have got to do this." I told him that he could not bring his car to a Goodguys event as Its too new. Car is a 78 Trans Am. We are building it with DSE suspension front and rear with a mini tub. He said "Dad that is just plain stupid of them" I would like to ask anybody out there why do they exclude cars like his? Do they also exclude 73 up Camaros, Firebirds,Cudas, Challengers? these are the same car with just different sheetmetal.

They are pre 72! Which needs to be changed to include 78 or even alittle higher. Its pretty bad when the NSRA has a higher number I think which is pre 81 but not sure. I know its higher than Goodguys.

I second that I would love to get my 78 T/A out on the course. If you hear of any OPEN road course invites in Dallas area please post. I am a member of the goodguys and tried to get them to bend the rules just so I could get on the road course and get up on the speedway.(NO GO) I would like to see that T/A after the tub. drop me a line when you get it rollin.

Check out the DFW Autocross Calendar. There is an Autocross going on somewhere almost every weekend. The Texas Time Trials look very interesting. We also have 2 very nice road courses here. Eagles Canyon and Cresson Motorsports Ranch. I'll be hitting several of these as soon as I can get the car sorted out.

Not much just some coilovers and larger sway bars. Some DSE stuff should be on there soon. Wanted to get a baseline before the mods. I will be in Tulsa for the Mid America Shelby meet at Hallett with the Fairlane. Should be fun.
