New Dude
Hey everyone! My name is Kevin, and I'm new here. Albert Melchoir referred me here and I like what I see!
A little about me: I work for High Performance Pontiac and Mopar Muscle as the associate editor. My personal interest has pretty much remained with the LS engines because that's what I started with — yes, I'm a youngin! I have a ’70 Bird that I plan to build into a road race car at some point, but I have to figure out what the hell I'm going to do with my GTO and if I want to get a C6 Z06 or not. As of right now, the Bird is sitting in the garage waiting. It has already been converted over to a T/A but I need to figure out what I want to do with the engine — maybe I'll find that out here?
My past five vacations have been to either photograph a race, go to a race, or participate in a race...so I think it's safe to say that I enjoy being involved with road racing. I was a drag racer before I got the bug. I had an ’01 SS that I built up and an ’01 T/A daily driver that I started taking some corners with. Then I got the GTO and I've pretty much done everything I could with this thing to try and get it to go around a road course as quickly as possible without sacrificing its on-road manners. Welcome! Run to Music city coming up in May, shouldn't be too far of a trip for you.
There are 2 factors in Autocross, Tires and the loose nut behind the wheel.

It's an ’05 with ’06 taillights. Right now, it's at 442rwhp 420 lb/ft to the wheels. I set it up for road racing and it has KW Coilovers, poly bushings, Hotchkis bars, and StopTech brakes to come, Corsa exhaust, American Racing headers, and some other odds and ends. It's a very fun car that I'm happy to call my daily driver.
