      Classified lowballers

I'll keep this anonymous. But this type of crap irks me. This is regarding some wheels i have for sale.

      buyer "$1800 shipped?"

I told him he was the highest bidder so far.

"Let me know, I don't waste peoples time."

I finally say lets get the deal done. $1800 shipped. I'll get the boxes ready.

I get a message back "orry I was out of town for a few days and just got your message. I will do $1600 shipped, let me know. "

I send a message quoting his own words about not wasting peoples time and get this back

"Really no reason to be rude."

I miss when a mans word was good enough. I hate this lowballer sneaky type of stuff. Atleast the boxes are here.

Some men do still keep their word.

He wants the best price - can you blame him? Stuff's only worth what someone's willing to pay.

Buyer made an offer less than asking price (basically seller has to eat the cost of shipping), and then when the seller accepted the offer, instead of paying, asked for an another 11% discount.

I'll give you $49.99 shipped, an I want them polished too. :P lol

Anyway, yeah, I don't understand the offer less than already offered mentality. I've had that happen to me, I usually sell to someone else, just out of spite. ;)

I don't understand why its taken so personally... it's not like he came to your house and kicked the dog.

You said 'bidder' so you accepted his offer and he lowered his 'bid' down $200.. that's hardly 'low balling'... now if offered 1200 or less I might consider that low balling.

Its nothing to get worked up over imo.

^^ because he made a offer. you don't renegotiate a offer. I wouldn't sell it to him period.

As far as I'm concerned you don't offer to pay $XXX then once seller accepts the offer then hit em for a lower amount. Once you offer $XXX and seller accepts then thats it. I get this type alot. I also hate it when you quote something then a week later the same guy get asks to price the same thing. Then again a month later. Then again three months later. And THEN..........

You don't lower your offer for no reason. Especially after the initial offer was accepted. Especially after he said he doesn't waste people's time. It's not like he was lowering his offer during "open negotiation."

I assume this is for your set of CCW's? With tires? A year ago, before I had my current wheels, I'd have scooped that up in a heartbeat. I love blacked out mesh style wheels.

*just went and reread the classified post. Still a good deal for just the wheels.
