      batter cable routing question.

the way my car is set up the fuse block is on the driver fender by the core support, my alternator is on the driver side.

now since i need to hook in the starter and the main battery cable yet keep things clean can i use a junction block on the driver side frame rail? so the main cable would run up the driver frame rail to the junction block. then there would be one cable from the block to the starter, one to the alternator and one to the fuse block. would this be ok or do i need to run from the battery to the starter then over to the fuse block and alternator?

option 2 is running a battery cut off switch. so the alternator cable would run to the dash mounted switch (SCCA, NASA rules) but the main cable, fuse block and starter would all come together at the junction block.

Racing group rules aside, it doesn't matter as long as the battery positive is connected to the starter and alternator. That is the important thing.

i didn't see anything in SCCA rules that said that i couldn't run it that way.
