      engine mount help

i broke a engine mount in my camaro whhen i removed it i found a part no on it if bg934. Thru a bit of investigating i found them at year one. I looked at the photo and it looked the same so i went ahead and ordered a pair. When they arrived they where totally different! I have contacted year one and they got back to me today saying that the manufacturer as updated their design and that the ones like mina are now NLA. The new design is looking like i have to bolt the lower half to the subframe then the which has the rubber mount in it then the bracket to the motor side. Problem being who ever built my car has welded the lower mount bracket to the sub frame. any ideas? As you can imagine being in oz its not like i can just walk in to a shop and buy this stuff.
      Thanks tony

Grind the welds and remove the old brackets? If you have a pic of what you need, that would be helpful...we might be able to source one for you that will work.

post a pic with dimensions. I've got a dozen different mounts laying around and I'm sure others do too.

BTW, do the toilets flush the other way there?????:-)

As for the toilet i think you mean the sink as a reverse flush to me means a BIG mess all over the floor!!! Yes our sinks empty clockwise. You gotta luv coming from the land down under !!

OMG what a nightmare. I decided to fit these so called replacement mounts last night. %.4 hrs later they are in!! And that was on a hoist!! Now the motor sits to the right and touches the top control arm bushes. I finally finished at approx 12.15 am I think that i wll just elongate the mountholes to reposition the engine as i am not unbolting these again in a hurry.
