It's called the "Underdogs" and although it's not v8 and rwd, it still captures the passion and energy that we're all addicted to in motorsports. Warning, may make you want to scrap your pro-touring plans and cut right to race car spec. A series well worth the time.

On this topic, the Redline Time Attack series has several events that the pro-touring community could be running. They even made a muscle car class at one point to encourage more of our kind of cars. The biggest downside to these events is that they are pretty expensive compared to your average track day.
