      Procar Rally Series 1000 Seats

I have a 69 Camaro and considering the Procar Rally series 1000 seats. Any of you guys have these seats? Pros/Cons?

I had them in my rock crawler and loved them. My brother in law has them in a 69 Camaro and they sit a little high, you will have to make seat brackets. I am considering using them for my 68 Camaro. They also make a rear seat cover to match for around $130.00

They are really comfortable and hold you in place pretty nicely, even for bigger guys (i'm 6' 220). Like DEIGuy38 said, they sit high... I actually had to chop a section of the brackets and re-weld them to get closer to the position I wanted. If you are under 5' 9" I'd say it won't be nessesary. All in all they are quality seats and do a great job of modernizing the interior while still keeping a muscle car look.

I have them in my 68 and really like them. If you order directly from Procar you can save a little bit as well.

I love mine... had them re-covered with '69 Parchment reproduction upholstery for a "factory" look.

I have them in my 1977 Camaro and like the comfort and the fact that they recline. I need that recline bit as they do sit a bit high. I have them mounted on the lowest setting.

Love the classic style, but with much better bolstering.

And the price is right too. For a local seat guy to re-do my stock seats, it would have cost me about the same as buying these seats. And I still wouldn't be able to recline them. Plus they have a storage pocket on the back of the seat which comes in handy. Good place to store the Camaro hat.

I have the Rally Series in my 69 Camaro Coupe and the Elite Series in my 67 Camaro Convt. Like them both but the Rally's do seem to sit a bit high in the coupe.
