Really nice project and I'm looking forward to seeing how you progress. Wish my '67 was as far along as yours but the journey is most of the fun. Congrats on the addition to your family and you can enjoy a cruise with your little one in the car. Mine always had a blast when we went out in my hot rods. Subscribed to the build and will be watching how you do, looks awesome so far.

did you spray or roll the POR 15? Looks like spray, but you never know until you ask.

spray. We still have to mod the tunnel for the t56 install. Once that is done it will be time to seam seal the floor and then add a real pretty layer of por15.

Next im going to slam the car and test for any and all clearance issues. I was told a 18x9.5 wouldnt fit on the front without rubbing. Well my fronts are 18x9.5 with 6.375 backspacing and the front very low there are no rubbing issues ")

Awesome build. Brings back memories when I look at the POR 15 and think of the smell.

Get a picture of the smile on your face when you 1st drive away in it. Then take one after you start to rethink the idea that you will never put it on the track for some fun !!!!!

Look forward to seeing the car someday. Have fun.

and engine is trans is mocked up on my buddies 69 dse subframe

its close so we are going to have to tilt the engine up some or mod the crossmember. chances are the crossmember will get flattened out.

the adapter will need to be turned the other way. currently its touching the headers

Overall the SW header clearance is amazing. they fit perfect in the subframe.

car is now lowered, rear end is set in the correct location, car is slammed to the ground and no rubbing issues at all. I pulled the front inner fenders just alittle and i have plenty of clearance. I know DSE wants you to run a 18x9 on the front but i went with 18x9.5 at 6.375 backspacing and its PERFECT !!!!

      and i love this pic.
