      Entourage GPS

Do any of you guys have any experience with the Entourage PS or CIS products? http://www.blacklinegps.com/products/

Looks like if you were doing events where you're away from home - trailering or driving - it might be kind of handy?

I don't have any experience with this particular product but I can get one that is close to this price with similar features. The subscription for the service is much cheaper than what this company offers. The product is about the size of a pack of cigarettes and is a simple 3 wire hook up.

Shannon, I'm curious as to the product. I'm aware of another one that's smaller but the service is not as wide a map. If you want, PM me the details or just post here. Thanks. The one advantage of the Entourage PS is that it's portable from vehicle to vehicle. Don't know how relevant that is.

The product that I can get is made by Omega Research, the same company that makes the keyless entry brain in our MI 700 kit. They have been in the aftermarket automotive electronics industry since 1970. The link below has more about the product and features available.

The unit is a GPS based tracking using the GSM cellular network.
The unit is $429, it is a little more than the one list in the OP but the savings come in at the tracking service fees.

The service fees to track the unit is as little as $29.95 for one year or "The Best Deal" $79.95 for 5 years. This is unlimited tracking, this does not include Autotracking. If you want Autotracking the fees are extra and you would have to purchase those as you need them.

The link below shows a demo of how the tracking works.

I forgot to list in the above post that there is no activation fee or registration fee for these units. To activate the unit and service there is a call center.
