wilwood versus baer

ok the way i understand it is baer use the c4 type pbr (floating caliper) and wilwood uses a (fixed caliper). right? so which type is better? visually i dont care, they both look good. im more concerned with installation, fit behind 17's, is one type or the other harder on rotors? this is for a 73 bird,17's,street use ( i might play a little)
