      Thanks Gentlemen,
The head unit is a Alpine id305, MTX TR55 subs(10in subs), 2 sets of MTX TX68s (6.5s with tweets), 1 MTX RFL 1200D (amp), 1 MTX RFL 404 (4 channel amp), and a capacitor. My son and I built the box and fabed all the sheetmetal last winter. All the sheetmetal is wrapped in leather with quilt padding and fastened with sheetmetal screws. I wanted it to make a statement when looking at it....it does for me! The sound is crystal clear even at HIGH volume and the subs hit hard enough to vibrate the garage doors. I still have to install the Yearone door panels then I can install the other 6.5s and tweets. I hope to have all the interior done by March this year.

aronhk md, I hear you on the $$$, I figured I'd better go ahead and get the interior done now before I start the drivetrain.

LOL....I went the opposite. This thing was a running, driving machine last summer, but blew a head gasket near the end of the season. Was it enough to just replace it and move on? Noooo......almost 1100 hp wasnt enough....I/m waiting to get back my newly balanced rotating assembly, with dished pistons now and adding ported aluminum heads that flow 50% more than my old ones did.

For now my only music is listening to the motor, or singing. Unless you have some good old equipment to get rid of now...lol

That is a nice looking system. I am going milder with mine, but I am excited about doing a ground up stereo install in my 74 Firebird. I have done many installs, but never layed out the system of my dreams. I have CDT 6x9 woofers for the package tray and I am going to do a 10 inch DVC sub in the trunk. Will probably do 6.5 Components in the door and then I have a nice set of 6.5 2 ways for the sail panel area. I haven't decided on my head unit or amp yet. I am going to lay down Second Skin Spectrum in the interior.
