      Help selling my trans.

I was hoping to get some help. I don't belong to any Ford or Chrysler sites, obviously because I own a Camaro. Is there anybody that belongs to these sites that could post a link to my stuff. It is a Ford TKO 600 5008. They use this also for the Chryslers. I bought this stuff from a member from a 70 Camaro, it is not a Chevy trans, it is a conversion bell housing. I was going to use this stuff for 3 different jobs ( mine included ) now I can't. If anybody could post the trans, if it sells on that site I will throw you a few bucks. I need to get rid of this stuff, all I want is to break even.

thanks in advance for any help,
      -Tom

Would you mind explaining the difference between a Ford TKO and Chevy? Is it just the spline count?

Same spline count, same trans except for the length and size of the input shaft which makes it slightly longer than the Chevy. The mounting of the bell housing is a Ford bolt pattern.

Part number 6037 says it will mate a Ford TKO to an LSx and 6064 mounts it to a SBC/BBC. http://www.quicktimeinc.com/products.html

Honestly, this doesn't sound like it's any different than trying to put a Viper T56 behind an SBC. My suggestion would be to put it up for sale every where you can and maybe mention that Quick Time has the adapter bell housing. Also, mention the differences between it and a GM T56/TKO. Good luck.

I have a mcleod of the same design for sale with it, I am not getting that much interest.
I think because it moves everything back slightly. I have it posted everywhere I'm allowed to.

ah ok. I misunderstood and thought you might be having trouble because it was a Ford part originally. I'm not on any Ford boards to offer any help.

      Good luck.
