      Bottom feed radiator

I'll admit I got the idea from a camaro featured in HOTROD magazine, but it seems like a great idea and easy to do- just move the spoiler back a few inches and fab up some blockoff to direct the air to the radiator. I know they sell a kit, but its pricey- anyone out there done this mod?

Here is one way to do it:

Also, look at 3rd & 4th gen Firebirds, they were bottom feeders, along with Corvettes. Should be able to get some ideas from those cars on ways to do it.

That looks pretty extensive, but I'm sure it works great. I've seen things as simple as a plastic dam that extends down from the rad. I like the idea of incorperating the factory chin spoiler. I wonder if some of the front grille could then be blocked off?

I'm planning on doing exactly that. I will be mounting my front spoiler across the core support ending on either fender, and blocking off as much grill as possible. I hope to be able to block off the grill entirely. When you do it, don't forget to seal the top of the grill to the hood.

Seal the top of the grill or core support? I also thought about louvers in the wheelwells for air to exit, but that may be overkill for what I have.
