Rear end needed
Ok guys... 1972 Pontiac LeMans (A Body) have 10 bolt with 2.73s in it & it's whining... so replacing... Also... I am putting a LS T56 6 speed transmission in it.
I'm keeping the 400ci motor (for now), so I need to know where to look, what manufacture... etc...
Should I go limited slip or posi track? 3.73, 4.11...etc????? Help!

I would say that you probably need a 12 bolt with a 400 and manual transmission. The '68 to '72 Chevelle, El Camino and Monte Carlo 12 bolt would be a bolt in for your car.
Limited slip and posi is the same thing. Posi and Positrac are Eaton's brand names for their limited slip differential. The Posi name has been used as a generic name for all limited slip differentials for many years.'69 RS/SS396 pro street/427/4spd/9"
