      Storage Wars

Has anyone seen this? I caught a group of episodes last night... it's pretty entertaining! Basically several folks who run pawn/thrift/resale stores go to bid on abandoned storage units. They only get to look past the door, without going inside, and they bid based on that... there are some good characters that end up finding decent treasure in some of those units! And... a cooler of 'shrunken heads' too! Its takes place in SoCal.

I like the episode when they find a BMW Isetta in one of the units...

I saw another show like this one, I think it was on Spike. Had a pair of younger guys, they found a surprising number of guns actually, lol. Was pretty entertaining, I'll have to check this one out too, thanks.

I just can't image why people would leave behind valuables... unless they are hiding them from their family and they die off... it seems like it would be fairly rare for that to happen.

I saw the show where they thought the BMW isetta was a fishtank...lol
      A very cool find.
A co-worker let one storage go when he lost his job, he had 2 units rented out. I can see it being a big business.

I've been watching this show and actually thinking about trying it sometime for the hell of it. wouldn't be nice to score a unit with a 60" Snap-On box full of tools buried under a bunch of crap...lol
