looking at buying a GoPro HD...

I was looking for the best price and ran across this on ebay...

Was wondering if this was a good deal or not? I'm looking at the newer one that was released with the 1080. Motorsports HD.

If anyone has any info for me before I buy I would really appreciate it.

      $219, but with $15 shipping
Looks like what you've found is about the cheapest deal.

There's a review of the GoPro HD, that highlights the good and the not-so-good features of the camera at http://www.actioncameras.co.uk/review_of_gopro_hd_hero. It might help you make your decision!

after looking at the go pro I stumbled across a little info that some of you might not know about yet.

It looks like they are working on a LCD screen and a remote wrist band along with a wireless microphone. Sounds like I may wait a little to see how long before these option are available.

On the other hand, I seen this...http://www.vio-pov.com/products-all/pov-hd.html
Cost twice as much. Anyone have one of these? How do you like it?

I know the go pro will cost more when they come out with the LCD screen and other options mentioned but I bet it will be less than the POV HD.

The Go pro just came out with an LCD screen that piggy backs to your go pro. This is something that I have been waiting for. Looks like I am going to get it now.:

      Check it out.

Cool! Wonder if these could be used to find those thumps/squaks in ones suspension.. or to see the suspension in motion during an autoX lap... hmmm.

Yes, they can be used for that purpose. Just make sure the camera's well secured and not in an area that needs to be filled by a tire or wheel during turns, braking, or both.

My thoughts exactly. Now I can justify it as a troubleshooting tool!
