what would you do with this??

We still own our 1990 isuzu minitruck, would you sell it,and try to find a real "PT" car, or...... keep it, and do like" HectorM52" is doing with his S10 ??? here is a picture of how it is/was shown. thanks for any thoughts if you click the pic the picture is a pretty decent picture of the truck, mind you, its not been started in 10 yrs or so, paint is still in great condition,it has the stock wheels &tires on it,if I can find some more pictures of it I'll post them up, just curious what the thoughts of everyone are.

I believe I would try and sell and start over. Looks like a sweet truck. You were telling me at PSMC that you had a lowrider.

Wow..in the 80's and early 90's that would have been a magazine cover truck, you did not say what kind of pro-touring car you are looking for or interested in that really would make the decision, lets say you want to build a 67-69 Camaro, though we see them all the time on here there never boring and new idea's and build styles change all the time on them, then I would sell the Mini-truck and move on with a new project. But really allot of cool 70 to mid 80's cars can be made pro-touring, it does not need to be subjected to just Camaro's Nova's Mustangs or late El Camino's like mine, try and be different and follow what your heart tells you, that's the fun of this hobby Scott, know matter what you build as long as your happy with it that is all that matters, good luck with the sale buddy!

I think anyone in this hobby has to have motivation to keep going on a project. So my advice is ask yourself if you will be motivated to do the next challenge with the truck. Do you feel like you've already "been there, done that" with this vehicle and need something new?

If the A/C works, bolt the bed down and make a daily driver out of it.

I thought I was the only one with an Izusu back then. I had an 85 with a double diamond tilt bed also.

Minitrucks can still be cool. There's a peformance movement going on in that crowd now too. Big turbos, hot engines, full cages etc. Wilder body mods. I"ve often thought about revisiting my old truck but kinda a version 2.0. More power, less bling. Minitub it, etc.

thats what my thoughts were way back then, I WAS, going to do a 350,coilovers, minitub, sort of musclecar/streetrod it. think I'm going to sell it and get a real PT car/project.
