      spring perch move

On a typical mini tube how far are the spring perches moved in on the axle?

What are some of the opinions out there about how much a housing should be narrowed for a mini tube project?

How big of tire are you wanting to run?
How much Dish are you looking for in the wheel?
Are you willing to cut the frame?

68 firebird, 335 tire, don't know on dish, yes I'm willing to cut the frame.

I considered the DSE minitube prosses the typical mini tube. I have not gone down this road to know what obsticals there are in doing this. I considered just narrowing the tubes what ever the perches needed to be moved in.

Hey Rohrt, well if you don't have your rims yet you can leave the rear end housing alone and just move the perches in.The DSE perches are bolt on so you can center the rear anytime.
Just do you tub and spring mount install then measure up and order your rims accordingly.
Narrowing the rear isn't always necassary.
