      Anyone running an AEM controller

I bought the AEM fuel/ignition controller awhile back but never installed it. Anyone with the same set-up?

Considering how much trouble it took for ONE GUY to get help from a VP and I STILL hear of issues from AEM.
      Sell it and run.
Honestly if you get enough you can jump to a ready built Megasquirt 3 and go sequential and cop ignition if you want and if you need trans controller the units are CAN connected.
Check out www.bgsoflex.com/megasquirt and look around. Good supplier is DIYAUTOTUNE.COM and there are even prebuilt plug and play for some versions.
and besides I will spend a lot less and work a lot harder to make things work and there are forums and tons of people who can and will chime in to help you over a few customer service people on phone 8 hrs a day.
And it can be fitted to just about anything.

      2X for MegaSquirt and DIYAUTOTUNE.
Matt Cramer from DIYAUTOTUNE checks into the support Forums every day to answer questions..

Had a guy send his AEM back for issues, They said circuit board was cracked, we asked or pics and package damage,,, none to come. He has since bought a dead AEM, cannibalized it and built the connectors into his MS3 and it was up and running in 3hrs after actual installing. Friend of his had some basic swap over tunes as his friend had AEM issues.
IF the VP fires a bunch of people and brings in some real people with out attitudes and are honest (ie if it was defect or just bad luck eat the fix and get a good review, dont shaft someone) he might get AEMs rep back, but its gonna be a long hard battle. Im not saying give the bank away but I have seen Matt Cramer offer absolutely unrealistic offers to help people. This is why he will get my cash and forwards.
Besides when Bowling and Grippo are doing it for the love of putting something out there, keeping it open source too and just making money on parts developed makes me want to buy it even more.
And its adaptability is untouched by anyone.
