      Converting to Power Steering!

I have a 1968 camaro with the original manual box. It is horrible to drive as I think the box is shot. I am looking to convert to power steering with a Iroc steering box. I have been searching and still have few questions and am a little confused. I know I need a performance box from a 1985-1992 Iroc, a power steering pump, power steering lines, rag joint, an adapter for lines from Lee. Will a Iroc power steering pump work or do I need one specifically for the 1968? Am I buying the lines for the first gen or the Iroc? Am I forgetting anything? If anyone who has done this swap and has a comprehensive parts list it will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am not familiar with the IROC conversion, but I know CPP makes a nice PS box and offers it in a kit with everything you need for $699. This price seems reasonable to me, but I dont know what your budget is. http://www.classicperform.com/Store/...va/6774PSK.htm

There are other PS box options they have as well.
