Seven events are planned for 2011 - the first one in January so we put together another "teaser" video about the Road Tour Express to help explain how it works - SPREAD THE WORD, and pass this video on!



We are in the process of picking team captains for the January event that will be run in California. The event will run from Jan 24-27 and end in El Segundo CA.



So if you think you have what it takes to build a winning team click here to register.

Yep..you drive your car so you get to eat all the Doritos yourself. We are getting ready to select team captains now so if you are interested click here to register. You can register to be a captain or just put your name in the hat to be one of the drivers. The great thing is that the teams build their own routes. You can take it anywhere you want as long as the package is driven by a different team member each day and it ends up in El Segundo on Thursday.

If I didn't have a laundry list of stuff to fix on my car to make it to SoCal... I drive it everyday, but would not drive it that far without fixing a few things and I'll be out of town for a bit. If this event was just another 30 days away... :(

What/when are the other 10 events?

We are running 7 events in 2011. The other dates and destination locations are still in "refinement". We are shooting to have most of the events locked in by the time the second event kicks off (most likely the middle of March). They will be spread out all across the country to give lots-o-folks opportunity to participate - not to mention a change of scenery.

The March event will be somewhere that weather won't require everyone to drive Jeeps and Subarus so that means south... or west again.

Man I don't think my car will be done in time to join in on the fun. Only a couple more things to do, but getting the time to do them right now is the only problem or I would be taking my car to this event.
So how else can I take part in the event? This is right in my backyard here. I'm so close El Segundo CA.... I'm in Long Beach. You should have it end at the Queen Mary in Long Beach or you can have it start at the Queen Mary. That is where they have the Long Beach Grand Prix. More room down there for all the cars that will show up

well there really isn't much more to do to my car. just some front end parts like the hood latch, release and a good tune up on the car
